Greetings!

Captain Tony’s Pizza offers some great pizza, good atmosphere and is right downtown at 14th and Main. Visit the Winfield Tourism page for more info on the city.

Loding is available in town - there are several independent and chain motels (google local link)

Post a comment below if you’re planning on coming, so I can warn Cap’n Tonys! (if enough commit to coming, I’ll try to round up some door (or booby!) prizes). Post where you’re coming from, too, if you don’t mind . . .

Some folks have been asking “What good roads?” Here’s a couple of links:

Grouse Creek Road ‘tween Dexter and 166:

Several roads out by Indy, including K99 and K39:

Loop south of Cedarvale, north of Pawhuska:

No, it’s not up to Colorado or Arkansas standards. But they are fun
county roads good for an afternoon of tooling around.

Pizza is good too…

Friday night some of us are heading up to the Loft in Wichita to catch
a concert by this rocker, Gooding. Pretty amazing stuff, and a damn
fine steak. We’ll be meeting at the Loft @ 6:30 or 7:00.

I’m fairly new to the Iron Butt Association and am intersted in meeting other people from this group. I am planning on being there. I waited to reply since I wasn’t sure if I would be working this weekend.

Great, Tony! I’ll be there - may not be much of a turnout, but we’ll still have some good pizza.
