HSTA member Moose injured
This weekend (October 13-17 sometime), former long-time Honda Sport Touring Association president and current national newletter editor “Moose” Parish was in a motorcycle accident.

Moose is now in Memorial Hospital in Greenville,SC. Apparently he low-sided his ST-1100 and has some broken ribs and other injuries which are unknown to me at this time. Hi wife Marge and son Dana are on the way to be with him.
Update, 10-17
Moose was in a MC accident near the SC/GA/NC state line. He low-sided his ST. The took him to:

He is in an ICU at this time with broken ribs and still has a few tubes in him. I was able to get in to see him and could communicate a bit but he is on some great drugs and would not share them with me. Marge, son Dane, and daughter Julie drove down from Indiana and were there. Also Carl Freed was there as he was with Moose when he crashed. I do not know when he will be getting out of ICU but I believe that they will step him down to a room in a day or so.

When Patricia and I left he was joking with his family so it looks good to see he has his sense of humor.
